Brief Description:
Jaber Border Center is the main border crossings connecting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with the Syrian Arab Republic. It is located between the town of Jaber in Mafraq Governorate and the town of Nasib in Daraa Governorate.
This crossing is a vital hub for the movement of goods and passengers between the two countries.
The project involves comprehensive expansion and rehabilitation of the infrastructure and existing buildings, demolition of old and unused structures, development of cargo yards and facilities, installation of advanced electronic and security systems, and renovation of accommodation facilities for security personnel.
The goal is to enhance operational efficiency and improve the quality of services provided at the border.

Project Objectives:
- Develop, maintain, and expand the border center, including buildings, facilities, roads, yards, and infrastructure
- Accommodate increased flow of passengers and goods
- Reduce transit time and enhance the efficiency of inspection processes
Implementation Timeline:
- Project tendering to begin in the end of Q4/2025.
Project Status:
The project has been registered as a PPP initiative in the National Registry of Infrastructure Projects. A supervisory committee has been formed at the Ministry of Investment to oversee implementation and manage the tendering process.
Estimated Investment Size
The project is with an expected USD 135 million with A double-digit IRR.

Is located on a 40-dunum site in Wadi Al-Arab and features hot mineral springs These springs are used for various therapeutic purposes, including the treatment of joint and rheumatic diseases, improving blood circulation, respiratory ailments, and skin conditions, making it a comprehensive tourist and therapeutic destination. The resort was developed in stages, including the construction of indoor and outdoor pools, a cooling pool, gardens, walkways, family and single chalets, restaurants, a commercial market, and water play areas, with a total cost of USD1.3 million, funded by several organizations. The municipality plans to expand the resort by adding a children’s amusement park and 18 new chalets, while continuing to involve local investors to ensure sustainable management and high economic feasibility. The project provides 25 direct jobs and stimulates commercial activity in the city.
